Inspiredu is an Atlanta nonprofit on a mission to drive digital equity by providing youth, families, and adult learners with the technology, training, and support needed to thrive in an increasingly digital world. Through hands-on workshops and device distribution, they empower community members to unlock economic and educational opportunities.

Join ATD Greater Atlanta as we kick off our partnership with Inspiredu with a meaningful day of community impact and collaboration! We are offering multiple volunteer options—both virtual and in-person—so every member can find a way to contribute and support digital literacy and education in our community.

Whether you want to lend a hand virtually in the afternoon, support after-hours operations, or dive into hands-on tech sorting, your time and skills will directly benefit learners and families across Greater Atlanta!

Volunteer Options

On-Site Opportunities

Afternoon Shift: Hands-on Tech Team Assistance

  • Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM ET
  • Details: No experience necessary! Gain hands-on experience with Inspiredu’s Tech Team. Expect to clean, reimage, manage inventory, and conduct quality assurance of laptops. All devices prepared are used for their community programs.
  • Spaces: 25 volunteers

After-Work Shift: Digital Skills Volunteer

  • Time: 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM ET
  • Details: Volunteers will assist and float between setup, participant check-in, navigation, and guiding attendees through the Learn To Earn Program, led by Inspiredu's Digital Skills Workshop Trainers.
  • Spaces: 5 volunteers FULL

Virtual Opportunities

Afternoon Shift: Digital Skills Volunteer

  • Time: 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM ET
  • Details: Volunteers assist learners by providing gentle guidance and technical support during a virtual beginner-friendly workshop designed for adults with little to no prior computer knowledge delivered through Microsoft Teams.
  • Spaces: 5 volunteers FULL
